Design meeting & brief

Our objective is always to create calma within your existing space. Whether it’s a clean new build or an old house with lots of awkward nooks and crannies, we will explore ways of creating stress-free, uncluttered living.

Our design process is personable and completely free of charge. Our consultant will visit to your home to discuss your project, create a mood board and brief.

  • We will discuss your own ideas. How you live in your home, and what you want from your storage solution, furniture or kitchen.

We will share inspiration and sketch out some ideas together. This will help to build a moodboard and brief.

  • Our designer will discuss types of wood and paint finishes, counter materials, tiles and flooring.

Less is more, depending on the product, we recommend no more than 2-4.

This will all feed into the brief.

  • We will focus on both external streamlining and internal systems – which is key to making uncluttered, calma living a reality.

Survey

Whether we are designing a bespoke piece of furniture or a kitchen, we will do an on site survey to make sure the project will run as smoothly as possible

  • We will take detailed measurement of your space, which will then be used to create an accurate drawing

  • We will look at easy delivery routes, storage if needed, skip placement, and possible permits. We will look at a risk assessment – to identify any potential hazards

    • Any changes – versus your initial estimate will be clear and tracked

    • Sign off – when you are happy with the design and budget
